What is the difference between promotional and transactional SMS?
I run a small shop in Kampala. I want to send offers to customers but also send order confirmations. Do I need different accounts for these?

Good question. Promotional SMS are marketing messages sent to customers who may or may not know you — promotions, offers, announcements. Transactional SMS are messages triggered by a customer action — order confirmations, payment receipts, OTP codes. On Yoola SMS, you can send both from the same account. Use a meaningful Sender ID like your business name for promotional, and a neutral one for transactional.
